The unit previously occupied by Argos will be redeveloped into mixed use units and the space above the underground car park will also be developed and prepared for a new occupier.

A new modern entrance canopy will incorporate a living wall with updated cladding, new pavements and landscaping.

Adjusted parking outside the underground car park will provide EV charging for visiting customers to use whilst shopping.

Hempstead Valley was opened in 1978 and extended in 1992 with the addition of a new mall and flagship M&S store. The restaurant development was built in 2015 with TKMaxx opening in 2016, which included re-modelling of the Red car park, alteration to the road in front of BHS and a significant improvement to the experience for passengers using any of the eleven bus services an hour to Hempstead Valley.

This is a significant investment for the future of Hempstead Valley which will strengthen the Centre as a destination of choice for customers and retailers.
