kmfm's All Day Auction in aid of Action for Children
The kmfm network is proud to support Action for Children and will dedicate a whole day to fundraising for the charity on Friday, December 2, 2011.
kmfm's listeners across Kent will be encouraged to take part in a live on-air auction between 6am and 6pm. They'll be able to bid for some incredible items, including unique celebrity packages, money can't buy experiences and signed merchandise from The Wanted, Peter Andre and the England Football Team.
The auction has been made possible thanks to generous donations from many businesses and household names across Kent, including Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre who supplied a £500 shopping experience with £100 to spend at each of the following stores in the centre: M & S Food, BHS Christmas Shop, Sainsbury's Food, Argos Gifts and Wallis wardrobe with a personal stylist.
There's no need to wait until the day of the auction to get involved, you can bid for many items in advance at www.kmfm.co.uk then tune into kmfm from 6am on Friday, December 2 to join in the fun.
Action for Children helps those children affected by disability, neglect, homelessness, family break ups, abuse and much more.
They currently work with 156,000 children and young people and have a strong presence in the South East.
Owned by KM Group, Kent's only independent multimedia company, kmfm is the county's most established local broadcaster, with an audience of over 169,000 (RAJAR Q3 2011) adults.
