Hempstead Valley's magical fairytale Christmas grotto was opened by Myma Seldon from kmfm for Medway, along with two winners of a competition run in conjunction with the Medway Messenger and kmfm for Medway. Joshua Didyk and Lauren Hayward were the lucky winners. All children coming to see Father Christmas were given a gingerbread man. As a treat for the grown ups, customers coming to see the grotto launch were offered free pampering courtesy of The Body Shop.
This year the grotto was specially designed for Hempstead Valley and is based on a gingerbread man themed house, with large sweets and candy canes adorning Father Christmas' grotto.
The grotto was opened daily until Christmas Eve, admission per child is £4.
