Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre has successfully retained the Park Mark® Award status.  This award is given by the Police to car parks that have achieved standards of the Safer Parking Scheme.  This scheme is designed to reduce crime and the fear of crime in car parks.

Su Button, Marketing Executive said: “Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre has developed a strong working partnership with the Police, which has helped us achieve the Park Mark® Award. Our car parks have achieved Park Mark® Safer Parking Awards.  This means that they have been assessed by the Police and we have measures in place to deter criminal activity, creating a safer environment for our customers and their vehicles”.

The car parks at Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre are properly managed, maintained and have appropriate levels of surveillance, lighting and cleanliness all of which contribute to reducing the opportunity for crime.
